Supporting the Woodhall, Faskine and Palacecraig Conservation Group

I enjoyed chairing the first Public Meeting in Calderbank

I am proud to continue to support the Woodhall, Faskine and Palacecraig Conservation Group, who are opposing the latest planning application proposal by Orchard Brae Limited, to build almost 1000 houses on historical greenbelt land.

The original planning proposal around 5-years ago was vigorously opposed and a revised planning application has now been made to North Lanarkshire Council.

The Woodhall, Faskine and Palacecraig Conservation Group (WFPCG) have organised the following public meetings to discuss their opposition to the plans.  These are open to all local residents with an interest in this wonderful greenbelt land I am delighted to have been asked to chair both meetings.

Monday 18th March - Calderbank Community Centre, Calderbank

Wednesday 20th March  - Riverbank Primary School, Carnbroe

The attached templated letters (produced by the WFPGC) can be downloaded, completed and returned to North Lanarkshire Council to register objections.

The planning application details can be accessed via the link below:

18/00890/PPP | Proposed Residential-led Mixed Use Development Masterplan including Residential (Mixed Types/Tenures), Employment Facilities, Local Neighbourhood Centre, Education Facilities, Retail, Food and Drink Uses, Public House, Leisure Uses, Healthcare, Community Facilities, Energy Centre, Parkland, Open Space and Landscaping, with Associated Access Roads, Parking and Infrastructure.
