Council Tax Rises

This SNP government have taken the unprecedented decision to force every local authority in Scotland to raise council tax across bands E-H.

This means, that if you live in a Band E property you will pay £100 more a year, a Band F will be hit for £200, a Band F for more than £300 and a Band H will be stung for £500 a year.

In North Lanarkshire over 25,000 houses in North Lanarkshire will be hit by the council tax and across South Lanarkshire 35,000 houses are likely to be affected.

The Scottish Conservatives have been consistently against such a tax grab, enforced by the SNP as part of their ever centralising agenda.
